ABOUT THE MOVIE
Wicked: For Good picks up where the first film left off, diving into Act II of the beloved Broadway musical. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), now branded the Wicked Witch of the West, lives in hiding and fights for truth and justice in an Oz ruled by the Wizard. Glinda (Ariana Grande), meanwhile, is the face of “good,” soaring with fame but wrestling with her own conscience.

Along the way, familiar faces from The Wizard of Oz step in — Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion — and we get two new songs that deepen the emotional stakes. Critics praise the movie’s emotional depth and performances, calling it “a darker, more intimate conclusion" — even if some feel the sequel leans on spectacle. Now, you get to decide!
