🎨 One of Our Own Is Showing Her Art — Come Celebrate With Us!
Creativity, community, music, and good coffee — this night has all the right things. Let’s show some love to one of our very own New Beginnings friends!

Join us for a relaxed, lively evening of art, music, and connection as Heather Birnhaum Harris (yes, our Heather!) and fellow artist Dorothea McCowan showcase their work together for the very first time.

We’ll be gathering at The Yard Coffeehouse, a cozy, modern neighborhood café known for its warm atmosphere, comfy seating, and delicious drinks — the kind of place you want to linger, chat, and soak in good vibes.

Nestled right on Main Street, The Yard sits inside Redwood City’s oldest surviving building — the historic Offerman House. Once a 19th-century carriage house and family home, it was lovingly restored and reopened as a neighborhood coffeehouse in 2023, blending rich local history with art, conversation, and community.

This is a casual, come-as-you-are kind of night — wander in anytime, grab something delicious from the café, enjoy the music and the art, and spend a little time chatting with the artists about what inspires their work.

If you’ve been to Heather’s super-fun Tuesday night improv Meetup in Belmont (BITE), you already know she’s seriously multi-talented — and this is a beautiful chance to see another side of her creativity and show some local love.
