🏈 Super Bowl Watch Party – Seahawks vs. Patriots – at Marvin Gardens in Belmont!
Get ready for one of the biggest football moments of the year! We’re gathering to watch Super Bowl LX — the Seattle Seahawks vs. the New England Patriots — live on the big screen at Marvin Gardens! 🎉
Super Bowl LX is the NFL’s championship game for the 2025 season and will be played on February 8, 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. This marks the second time Levi’s Stadium has hosted the Super Bowl and the third time the big game has been in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Event Details:
- Date: Sunday, Feb 8th
- Arrive: 3:00 pm PST
- Kickoff: 3:30 pm PST / 6:30 pm EST
- Venue: Marvin Gardens, 1160 Old County Road, Belmont, CA
- Game Ends: ~7:30 pm PST
- Venue Closes: 8:00 pm PST (kitchen closes earlier — exact time TBD)
Seattle and New England both finished the season 14–3 and punched their tickets by winning their respective conference championships — so expect a competitive showdown. Most sportscasters have the Seahawks as slight favorites, but with a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX on the line (which New England won), anything could happen!
Oh, and Bad Bunny will be headlining the halftime show — one more reason this Super Bowl is shaping up to be unforgettable. 👏
🍔 A few important (but friendly!) commitments
Marvin Gardens is generously reserving space for our large group at no charge, and they always take great care of us. In return, we ask everyone to help us take great care of them.
💵 Food & Beverage Minimum:
Each attendee must commit to spending at least $20 on food and/or drinks (excluding tax and tip). This ensures that the restaurant benefits from hosting us and provides a solid base for tipping their staff generously. If meeting this minimum is a concern, this event may not be the best fit for you. We completely understand and hope you'll join us another time soon. Please note: even when we’re seated outdoors, outside food or drinks aren’t allowed due to health code requirements.
👥 Guests:
Bringing a friend? Great! Just confirm with them first before RSVPing. If your guest doesn’t show, you’ll be responsible for both commitments ($40 total).
🪑 Seating Reminder:
Please stay seated in the section reserved for our group (look for RESERVED signs on our tables) rather than spreading out around the restaurant. This helps keep other tables available for walk-in guests and keeps our event organized. We can still mingle within our section!
🌡 Patio & Dress:
We’ll be seated on the back patio, which has heaters but is still outdoors, so dress in layers to stay comfortable throughout the game.
🔄 RSVP & Change of Plans
Please RSVP as soon as possible if you plan to attend. If your plans change, update your RSVP in Meetup AND text the host, Amy, at (650) 503-4555 by FRIDAY, FEB 6 AT NOON so we can give the venue an accurate headcount.
⏳ If you’re on the waitlist, please keep an eye on your status — spots often open up quickly as plans shift. If you are still on the waitlist on Sunday, Feb 8, please know that space may not be available for walk-ins, tempting as it may be. We hope you’ll keep an eye out for other upcoming events and join us another time.
💖 We love watching big games together — hosting fun, social events, with great food and drinks, and we value our relationship with Marvin Gardens. When we show up as a respectful, appreciative group, everyone wins—and we get to keep gathering at this friendly and fantastic spot! 🥳
Come for the game, stay for the camaraderie, commercials, halftime chatter, and shared cheers (or groans). Let’s make it a great Super Bowl Sunday together! 🏆🏈 🤗
🚗 Parking:
Carpooling is recommended. Street parking is usually available on Old County Road or in the neighborhood across the street. Expect a short walk — and please be careful crossing Old County Road after dark (eyes up, phones down!).
🚆 Public Transportation:
Marvin Gardens literally backs up to the train tracks. Belmont Caltrain Station is just a 5-minute walk away. Check Caltrain's weekend Schedules here.
