🎉 WELCOME TO OUR 10TH ANNUAL ANGEL ISLAND DAY!
A day of fun, food, libations, and great conversation—set in one of the most spectacular locations in the Bay Area!

🎯 3 AMAZING WAYS TO ENJOY THE DAY
🥾 1. The Grand Perimeter Hike (Approx. 6 miles)
Join the main crew for an epic loop around the island! Along the way, we’ll:

• Sip wine and snack mid-hike
• Stroll past Camp Reynolds (West Garrison), the historic Immigration Station, and buildings dating back to the Civil War
• Take in stunning vistas of Richmond, Berkeley, Oakland, San Francisco, and the Bay Bridge

❤️ This is the heart of the day—a chance to move, laugh, and reconnect with old friends (or make a few new ones).

🏖️ 2. The Chill Quarry Beach Hike (Approx. 3.5 miles round trip)
Prefer a lighter walk? This scenic route hits historic highlights and ends at beautiful Quarry Beach—perfect for sunbathing, vino sipping, and pure relaxation.

🌴 3. Lounge Mode: Activated (Approx. 0 miles)
Not feeling the hike? Totally fine. Kick back at the smaller beach near our picnic site—nap under the trees, sip something cold, chat with friends in the shade, or just relax and enjoy our never-ending playlist of great music. No hiking boots required.

👉 Choose your own adventure once you're on the island! No wrong way to enjoy it—just don’t forget your camera!

👯 THE BIG GROUP HANG
When the hike is done, we’ll all gather at the picnic site for a lively potluck lunch, refreshing drinks, group sing-along karaoke, spontaneous line dancing, and all-around good vibes. (🎶Karaoke playlist coming soon. Previous singing experience discouraged!😄)

🎒WHAT TO BRING

🥾 For the Hike or Beach Stop:

• Water (hydration is happiness!)
• Tasty snacks, dips, deli bites to share
• Optional: a bottle of wine to share on the trail

🥗 For the Potluck Lunch (items stay at the picnic site; some folks will hang back and watch them):

Some suggestions for what to bring:

• 🥪 Sandwiches, wraps, deli meats
• 🧆 Hummus, ethnic favorites, sushi
• 🧀 Cheeses, breads, salads

• 🧃 Beer, wine, soda, juice, or a case of water to share
• 🧊 A cooler with ice for your own items
• 💧 Dont forget to bring enough water for yourself for the hike and for the rest of the day!

🍽️ We’ll have plates, napkins, cups, and utensils ready for you—huge thanks to our generous member donations! 🙌

🏖️ For the Beach: A few blankets or towels to spread out and chill

👟 Clothing & Essentials:
• Layers for sun and breeze (especially on the ferry)
• Sunscreen, hat, swimsuit, towel
• Comfy shoes for hiking

🚶 ONCE WE GET TO ANGEL ISLAND
Look for our sparkly green streamers once you exit the ferry, then turn right. We’ll gather just past the open field at the picnic tables. Quick intros start at 11:00 AM, then we’re off on our hikes!

🅿️ PARKING IN TIBURON
Use Tiburon Boulevard Lot A (between Town Hall and Chase Bank) or Lot B (between CVS and Chase Bank). Both cost a flat rate of $5 per day. Bring exact change! It’s about a 5-minute walk to the ferry. This link shows the layout of the parking lot:📍 Tiburon Parking Map

🥪 OPTIONAL BEFORE & AFTER GET-TOGETHERS

• Pre-Ferry Coffee Meetup: Fuel up with us at Café Acri (1 Main St, Tiburon)—just steps from the ferry.
• Post-Island Drinks/Dinner: After the ferry back, some of us keep the party going in Tiburon. You’re totally invited!
