Join your New Beginnings friends on Halloween, Saturday, October 31, for a frightfully fun afternoon of live music, dancing, great food, and the irresistible energy of Smokin’ Slice of Mojo!

This high-energy Bay Area band will raise your spirits with a wickedly good mix of Motown, soul, R&B, and rock favorites guaranteed to get your bones moving! Whether you're dressed to thrill or just coming for the music, grab your friends, hit the dance floor, and enjoy some Halloween magic by the waterfront.

Costumes are encouraged, but not required! 🎃

EVENT DETAILS

🕒 Arrival Time: 3:00 PM – come early to claim a spot and help hold space for the group
🎶 Show Time: 3:30-6 PM
📍 Location: Port of Redwood City, 459 Seaport Court

Our group gathers to the left of the stage, just behind the twin palm trees near the food truck. Look for our green sparkly streamers and your host, Nancy, wearing a colorful bead necklace.

• A chair for yourself
• Food and drinks (for yourself or to share!)
• Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)
• Layers for the late afternoon breeze (It's getting colder! 🥶)

💸 A suggested cash contribution of $5–20 is collected during the set break to support Live Music Fostering Community, the nonprofit sponsor of Rock The Dock.

Rock The Dock events are casual, social, and welcoming — easy to enjoy whether you come with friends or on your own. New members are always welcome!

You’re welcome to bring a picnic, snacks, and beverages (for yourself or to share). Plus, there are several food and beer trucks onsite as well.

🅿️ PARKING

• Main Lot: The Port’s main parking lot fills quickly — especially for popular bands.
• Overflow Lot: If the main lot is full, use the overflow lot just east of the main entrance on Seaport Blvd.
• How to Enter: Instead of turning left into the main lot, make a soft diagonal left just before the median and go through the gate. (Yes, it feels like you’re heading into oncoming traffic!)
• Walking Route: After parking, walk back out to Seaport Blvd to get to the dock.
