You are invited to spend a weekend photographing in Beautiful Big Sur including the Amazing Keyhole Arch effect.

Dates: Saturday, January 14, 2017 to Sunday, January 15, 2017.

Optional Day: Friday, January 13, 2017. For those who are able to attend on Friday, we will be meeting at 10:00 am and travel to several locations including the Keystone Arch. If you are not able to attend on Friday, you can join us on Saturday morning and be able to visit all the scheduled locations.

Big Sur: The Big Sur Area of California is a magnificent combination of land and sea with an amazing range of subjects to photograph in spectacular Big Sur coastal locations and parks. In addition to the Keyhole Arch, some of the locations that we plan to visit include: Garrapata State Park, Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, Bixby Bridge at Night, Purple Sand Beach and Point Lobos.

Keyhole Arch Effect: For a few weeks each year around the Winter Solstice, the sunset casts an ethereal glow through the Keyhole Arch that is absolutely breathtaking. People travel from all over the world to photograph this iconic event.

About This Workshop: We will spend both Saturday and Sunday afternoon photographing the Keyhole Arch. In the evening, we will do some images with the full moon including Bixby bridge. On Saturday morning, we will spend the morning at Point Lobos and on Sunday morning we will visit other Big Sur locations. The exact schedule for the workshop will be made a few days before the workshop.

Class Size: 15 photographers.

Workshop Fee: $150.00 (not including travel, meals, park entry fees or hotel rooms).
