Learn about bound buttonholes + hand-picked zippers w/Jennifer Serr!

Ever wanted to learn how to make bound buttonholes or install an hand-picked zipper? At this online meetup, Jennifer Serr, founder of The Sewing Room in Alameda and pattern designer, will be demonstrating how to do these sewing techniques. These are lovely details to add to your sewing repertoire!

Jennifer has worked in fashion and sewing professionally for years, including starting her own custom bridal gown business and launching her own indie pattern company Bounjour Teaspoon. She recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of The Sewing Room (@the_sewing_room_alameda on IG), which offers sewing and fashion design classes.

She loves sewing vintage garments using vintage patterns. You can see some of her beautiful garments on her @vintageadventuress IG account.

We'll have time at the beginning of this meetup for group introductions so members will have a moment to share what they are working on or what they are wearing. We will also have a Q&A with Jennifer about how she got started in sewing and fashion design.
