Learn About Mending Garments with Textile Artist Radha + Show & Tell!

Come hear Textile Artist Radha talk about her approach to mending and repair of garments at this meetup! She'll do a brief demo and then you are welcome to show garments or other things you've repaired and/or get advice or ideas on garments you want to repair.

If you don't have a mending project, you can just bring something you've made to show to the group – or just bring yourself!

You are welcome to bring your sewing tools and thread to do some repair during this event. And feel free to bring snacks to share. Drinks will be provided.

Radha is a Textile Artist and Sustainable Business Strategist based in San Francisco. After a 15-year career in the apparel and textile industry working at Levi's, Radha founded Sewing through Fog in 2021 to reconnect with her creative roots and advocate for circular textiles. With authenticity, humor, and heart, she encourages others to find beauty in repurposing denim and to transform old fabrics into new treasures.
