Fitting Meetup!

If you want some help fitting a garment, come to this meetup and let's help each other! Bring your mockup/muslin/toile and get help fitting the back, bodice, sleeves, pants, etc. Or bring a garment you made that you wish fit you better and maybe we can figure out how to adjust it so your next version fits better.

You can also bring a pattern you've cut out - or traced and cut - to see what adjustments can be made to the pattern to get a better fit before you even cut our your muslin. Worksheets will also be available so we can also help each other get our measurements.

You are welcome to bring your sewing machine. You might want to bring an extension cord in case you need it to reach an outlet. Please let Chuleenan know if you are bringing a machine so we can make sure we have room for all the machines. Message her via Meetup or email her at bayareasewists [at] gmail.com.

The Berkeley Public Library is two blocks from the Downtown Berkeley BART stop.

There is metered street parking and public parking garages nearby.
