Meetup at Needles Studio with Nina Lee

Join us for a meetup at Needles Studio with our special guest — Nina Chang, the designer behind Nina Lee indie patterns and The Merry Stitcher embroidery patterns.

Nina founded Nina Lee in London, with her designs inspired by the incredible heritage and diversity of that city. Now based in Northern California, her patterns have some West Coast flavor. Her designs are "intended to fit into your me-made wardrobe year-round, and to work as canvases for your own creativity."

She began creating and selling her cross-stitch embroidery patterns in her Etsy shop, The Merry Stitcher, in October 2024.

Nina is currently designing a collection that will be made into a clothing line for a small company. The designs will also be released as patterns by her.

This meetup will be hosted by Erika, the owner of Needles Studio, an indie fabric store that also offers a range of sewing, embroidery, and crafting classes and PDF large-format printing. If you'd like to get your patterns printed at Needles, send them your files in advance of the meetup and pick them up at the event. Thanks for hosting Erika!
