Tilden Park Hike

Details
Della has graciously offered to lead a short 3-3.5 mile hike in beautiful Tilden Park. It's an especially wonderful time of year with wildflowers galore.
Please bring snacks and water, a hat and/or sunscreen. Clothing layers (it may be very warm this weekend). Trekking poles if you have them as there is a bit of a climb up and then back down, though it is not a particularly difficult route. Expect beautiful views, aforementioned flowers, birds, perhaps even a snake if you're lucky! Expect a medium pace as there will be some bird watching (binoculars!!) and convivial company.
The route will start at the end of Loop Road (past The Meadow) so walk up the road (or drive) until cars are no longer permitted. There is a gate. Please see map. Then the hiking route goes upward on the Laurel Canyon Trail. Based on trail conditions there may be some improvisation to complete the loop.
If any questions you can contact Della via this site.
