The Best Tips for Partnering with Other Facilitators and Graphic Recorders

Details
An effective partnership with a co-facilitator or with a graphic recorder can make or break an event. Both partners and clients have a powerful experience when personalities, preferences, and strengths are aligned toward a common goal. All parties are more likely to succeed when proper steps are taken in advance.
This event will feature Emily Shepard, founder of the Graphic Distillery. Emily brings 20+ years of experience working as a graphic facilitator, illustrator, and visual thinking workshop teacher, using her experience in partnering grounded in connection, open dialogue, and the spirit of curiosity and play.
Some terminology:
-

-
Graphic recording – The illustration of presentations, discussions and concept descriptions in real-time, either onsite on large poster paper or online using a drawing tablet and stylus to produce a lasting visual artifact for collective and group memory, and for sharing with non-attendees.
-
In addition to the panel discussion, participants will work together in Mural to identify the finer points of successful facilitator-to-facilitator, facilitator-to-recorder, and recorder-to-recorder partnering. Bring your success stories to contribute to our learning!
