Tuesday Morning - Redwood City - Kayak/SUP

Details

Can you remember the last time we have 70+ weather? I won't let it pass by without having some fun in the water.

* We'll meet at the boat ramp at 9:30 AM
* On the Water at 10 AM. (If you need more than 30 min for boat setup and gear up, please arrive early).
* We'll introduce ourselves, going over basic safety checks and paddle along Redwood Creek towards the bay, but turn into Westpoint Harbor instead.
* One way distance is a little over 2 miles, and we'll paddle at a modest pace like 2.5 miles/hour.
* 12:00 PM Return to dock.

Parking: Free parking
Restroom: Onsite
Water available to rinse off the boat, if you bring a hose.

What to bring:

  • Your boat (Kayak/SUP, inflatable OK)
  • Must wear a properly fitted PFD at all times.
  • A whistle to call for help in distress. (Some PFD models have whistles attached). You may buy a storm whistle from Amazon for about $7.
  • Marine radio if you have one

Please update your attendance by 9 PM before event date.
