What Foster City is famous for? The stunning Lagoon!
Glide through navigable canals weaving around resort-like man-made islands (avg. 6’ deep). With panoramic views and calm waters, it’s one of the safest and most scenic paddles in the Bay Area.

Can that be even better? A free concert on water!
Foster City is hosting Summer Concert series and the Rock band tinman will be playing this Friday.

Let's paddle to the back of the Amphitheater, bring some snacks and enjoy the evening!

📍 Meet: Foster City Boat Launch
⏰ Time:

• 5:30 PM – Arrive/set up gear (need extra time? Come early!)
• 6:00 PM – On-water intros + safety briefing → Leisurely paddle (~2 mph) to Leo Ryan Amphitheater.
• 8:00 PM – Heads back, return to dock no later than 8:30 PM

Parking: Free parking
Restroom: Onsite

What to bring:

• Your boat (Kayak/SUP, inflatable OK)
• Must wear a properly fitted PFD at all times.
• A whistle to call for help in distress. (Some PFD models have whistles attached). You may buy a storm whistle from Amazon for about $7.
• Snacks (to share?)
• No more than 1 alcoholic drink per person.

This is considered a super beginner friendly easy trip, with round trip no more than 2 miles.
