Sierras South Lake to North Lake

I have a permit for 3 people from South Lake to North Lake 9/3 - 9/8.
Due to some late cancellations there are 2 spots available for experienced backpackers.
This is a no rush modestly paced trip of 6 days to go only 35 miles.
The return is over the Lamarck Col, which is very steep as some of the other spots are, but the daily miles are low.
