Hello everyone!
I was recently invited by Meetup to take over as the organizer of this group. Since I don’t have any experience with speed dating, I’ve decided to give the group a fresh new focus and name.
We all know that, as midlife singles, living and working in the Bay Area can sometimes feel challenging—and definitely not always fun. That’s why this group is here: a place where 40s and 50s singles can meet new friends, share experiences, and enjoy life together.
This is our group, created and managed by all of us. Please share your ideas, and best of all, feel free to step up to organize an event that you think many of us would enjoy—I’d love to see everyone contribute!
Expect casual meetups like dinners, hikes, happy hours, cultural outings, and maybe even a few road trips. The goal is simple: to create real connections, build friendships, and support each other as we navigate this stage of life.
