Muir Beach Loop + Overlook

Join us for a classic Marin road ride featuring winding roads, a ride past Muir Woods National Monument, and a stop at Muir Beach Overlook with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

### Route

We’ll leave Corte Madera via Chapman Drive before continuing through Mill Valley and climbing Muir Woods Road toward the coast. From there we’ll ride Shoreline Highway to Muir Beach Overlook, where we’ll stop to enjoy the views, take photos, and regroup.
If the marine layer has cleared and the group is interested, we’ll have the option to continue north on Shoreline Highway for an out-and-back extension toward Stinson Beach, adding some beautiful coastal miles with relatively little additional climbing.
We’ll then continue the classic Muir Beach Loop back toward Mill Valley and finish with the Mill Valley–Corte Madera bike path before returning to the parking area.

### Ride Style

This is a social, no-drop ride. We’ll regroup at major intersections and at the top of the main climbs so everyone can enjoy the ride together.
