Monday Night Poetry Lounge

Come VIRTUALLY join us for a night of creativity and community, and delve into the meaning of poetry! Expect a judgement-free, supportive space to write, create, share, and mingle with other Bay Area (and beyond) poets.
We offer a prompt with an example to inspire your creativity, but you're welcome to use this writing time however you wish.
Our schedule for the evening will be roughly:
6:00-6:15pm: Check-in and greetings.
6:15-7:00pm: Writing prompt and writing time.
7:00-8:00pm Each poet shares the poem they wrote this evening and receives short, positive feedback on their new poem.
We use Google docs to share poems, but poets are also welcome to screen share or read a poem aloud on prompt nights.
We'll focus on what lines stood out and what we liked. It's not mandatory to comment.
