Preserving Neural Stem Cells During Aging

Details
Join us for dinner, drinks and discussion with Dr. Ashley Webb, from Stanford University — at the Pace Gallery in Menlo Park!
About Dr. Webb’s work:
Dr. Ashley Webb is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Anne Brunet’s lab at Stanford University. Dr. Webb focuses on the molecular mechanisms responsible for the decline in neural stem cell functionality during aging. She has her B.Sc. in Biology from McGill University, Canada and her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington. Very shortly Dr. Webb will be leading her own lab at Brown University.
Notable Publications include:
FOXO3 shares common targets with ASCL1 genome-wide and inhibits ASCL1-dependent neurogenesis
Cell Reports
FOXO transcription factors: key regulators of cellular quality control
Trends in Biochemical Sciences
