Brendan Gregg: DTrace: The BookAlso, OpenSolaris and IllumOS
For our May general meeting, BayLISA is pleased to welcome Brendan Gregg, author of the new book DTrace: Dynamic Tracing in Oracle Solaris, Mac OS X and FreeBSD (http://dtrace.org/blogs/brendan/2011/02/23/dtrace-book-sample-chapter-file-systems/). He will be talking about the book and the use of DTrace across platforms. It's not just for Solaris anymore.
We will also have a discussion of the state of OpenSolaris and related projects. Join us to learn about the latest developments in Solaris outside Oracle.
