MAIN PRESENTATION
Xero to a Million: The terror and ecstasy of Building to Web Scale
My company, Xero, now five years old and with more than 100,000 users around the world, started with just one. Come and learn how Xero tackle the problem of building a highly scalable suite of applications with .NET.
Join us for this informative talk.
Owen Evans is Chief Architect at Xero, but that doesn't mean he wears a space helmet and doesn't code anymore. He's a hands on developer, and has seen Xero through from early days with 20 odd employees to where it is now with more than 80,000 customers world wide. He's a regular presenter at Tech Ed in New Zealand, presents at User Groups (and helps run the Wellington .net User group) has his own little startup on the side and runs a big Web Developer conference in Wellington New Zealand (WDCNZ), and that's just what he does when he has free time from his wife and two young kids.
