Sunday Chess @ Morris Park on 47th & Broadwy

Come join us on a sunny, crisp day at Morris Park in Bayonne for some chess. Located on the corner of 47th & Broadway on the opposite corner from Americano's Restaurant, it's a quaint city park with a few chess tables.

We celebrated International Chess Day in July, where we had FIDE Master and world renowned chess author Carsten Hansen...author of 88 books and counting do a simul. One of our members drew their game. It's the second simul, where someone has drawn Carsten. Carsten, by the way, is a member of the group and an avid supporter of what we've created in Bayonne and for chess.

Come join us. every Sunday over the summer and fall. Of course, if it's raining it doesn't happen. We usually end up moving to Joe's Pizza on 41st and Broadway for our chess fix. Hope you join us. It's always a blast. We get players from all over New Jersey.
