Welcome to Bayou City Kayaking!

We believe the best adventures are shared with friends. Our group brings together a diverse mix of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy getting on the water, exploring new places, and building genuine connections along the way. Whether you're here to meet new people or paddle with friends, you’ll find plenty of both.

Based in Houston, we’re passionate about paddlesports and the outdoors. From winding bayous to hidden waterways, we seek out unique destinations—many only accessible by boat—and turn them into memorable experiences filled with great conversation, and a shared sense of adventure.

Our events vary in pace and difficulty, and each trip clearly outlines distance, conditions, and skill expectations so you can choose what’s right for you.

While kayaking and canoeing are at the heart of what we do, the adventure doesn’t stop there. We also enjoy:

• Hiking and camping
• Primitive camping by boat
• Social meetups

We welcome both kayaks and canoes on our trips. SUPs and inflatables are welcome on certain events, depending on the location and level of difficulty—just check the event details.

Safety is a priority, and we encourage all members to paddle within their abilities and come properly equipped.
