Let's Meet Up to Welcome Our Guest Speakers (Tony & Sonya!) and to Share Work!

HEY BAYOU WRITERS,

I am super excited to welcome writing duo Tony Strong and Sonya Sargent!

A.M. Strong is the pen name for author Anthony M. Strong. He is the co-writer of nine novels, most recently Gravewater Lake, I Will Find Her, and The Last Girl Left.

A native of the United Kingdom, Anthony now splits his time between Florida and the coast of Maine.

Sonya Sargent is the co-writer of ten novels, most recently I Will Find Her and Gravewater Lake. Her third psychological thriller, A Place To Die For, will be released in March 2026 with publisher Thomas & Mercer.

A native of Vermont, Sonya now splits her time between sunny Florida and the beautiful coast of Maine.

In addition to the discussion/presentation, we'll also have time for Readings:

LET'S SHARE OUR WORK
We are a writing group... so please bring in anything you are working on and want to share! New members are especially encouraged to bring something to read. It can be flash fiction, a short story, journal writing, or a couple of pages from your larger manuscript. If you write it, we want to hear it. The only request is to keep it under 1,000 words.

GREAT PLACE TO EAT
We have found a wonderful home at Bosco's in Mandeville. They have a great private room, excellent service, and wonderful food. They are not charging us for the space, but if you can, please plan to eat dinner and dessert or order drinks to help them for helping us.
