BWC Christmas Meetup... 2025 Wrap-up!

Hey BWC-

This meet-up is our 2025 Year End Review Party plus Reading Event!!!

We will discuss our successes, what we have learned, and announce upcoming 2026 writing goals.

All bragging rights are welcomed, like if you won Novel November, if this is your first meeting, if you found this writing group and came to a meeting to find like-minded people, if you met your writing goals, set aside a special place for your writing, started your author website or platform, published this year, and/or won an award, this is your night!

In keeping with the PARTY theme, I would really like to hand out some Bayou Writer items. If you have bookmarks or a copy of your latest book that you would like to donate as a door prize, please bring them. (Also, email me and let me know what you're bringing.)

For the reading portion of this meeting, we need you! Please bring in something 1,000 to 1,500 words or less, to read to the group. This can be holiday-themed or not. Depending on how long our discussion portion lasts, there will be time for 10 to 12 readings.

Please help me show our gratitude to Bosco‘s by planning to eat dinner, dessert, and/or drinks. They don’t charge us extra for the private room and the food is absolutely delicious.

If you have wanted to bring along a friend or significant other and introduce them to your writer friends, this is a great meeting to do it.

I cannot wait to see everyone and celebrate those writing accomplishments! Please don't forget to RSVP for yourself and any guests. I know this is a busy time for everyone, and there are a lot of office parties going on, so please let me know if you will be there so we can set up properly.

Thank you to all members for making this such a wonderful writing year! Our group has continued to grow in members and talent, and I feel incredibly blessed to have so many writing friends and such a strong support community!
