Interested in adult ballet? Come meet us and learn how to join our supportive courses for all levels!
Join Alex, your instructor. He trained at the Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst, is RAD qualified with the Professional Dancers’ Teaching Diploma, and now teaches ballet at university level. With lots of experience helping dancers at every stage, Alex is ready to support you on your ballet journey.
The Birmingham Ballet Association (BBA) is launching this September in Northfield/Bournville with 6-week courses for beginners, intermediate, advanced dancers and open classes.
At this relaxed coffee chat you can:
✅ Find the right level for you
✅ Learn about our course structure and how you can progress
✅ Ask about what to wear, how to book, and what to expect
✅ Join our first cohort starting in September and get £10 off when you book on the day (you’ll receive physical receipts and proof of payment)
✅ Join our exclusive WhatsApp group to hear the latest news and feel the buzz as we build the BBA community together
Class sizes are capped at 12 dancers so you get personal attention. If more people want to join, we’ll add extra classes.
Before you pay anything, Alex will show proof that the hall is booked and you’ll get a booking confirmation to reserve your place.
That means you can book with confidence. No risk, just a guaranteed spot to start your ballet journey.
About Encore Social Group
Encore is our friendly social group for adult ballet fans — whether you’re dancing with us or just love ballet. We run theatre trips, cinema nights, coffee meetups and other fun events all year round.
You don’t have to be signed up for classes to join Encore. It’s a great way to connect, share your passion, and enjoy ballet beyond the studio.
No pressure, just a warm welcome and answers to your questions. Perfect if you’re curious and want to learn more.
Your ballet journey starts here and we’ll be with you all the way.
The duration says 1 hour as an estimate but you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
Please RSVP to let us know an idea of numbers for tables but if all spaces are "taken" on meetup turn up anyway, the more the merrier!!
