The BBC invites you to join us for engaging tech-related talks located across London, Manchester, Glasgow & Newcastle. We'll cover a broad range of topics, from frontend and backend, to product, design and data science.
We are excited about sharing how the BBC use technology to deliver content and services to audiences and hearing from brilliant people around the industry to hear about their experiences.

UKTV x BBC Tech Meetup - Connected TV Development October 2026
10 Hammersmith Grove, 10 Hammersmith Grove, London W6 7AP, UK, London, GBJoin us at UKTV's offices in London on Thursday 22nd October, from 5:30pm for an evening of talks on developing applications for smart TVs, set-top boxes, streamers, and games consoles.
Doors will open at 5:30pm and the talks will kick off at 6pm.

Background
The BBC has been broadcasting from Newcastle for over 100 years. Now it's also the base of our North East Technology Hub and home to teams from the BBC's Product Group, responsible for developing world-beating services like iPlayer, Sounds, Sport and Bitesize.
The event is informal, and the doors will open at 17:30, starting 18:00 running through to 20:00.
