Just in time for Spring travel, BCATW Board President Ruth Kozak presents TRAVEL WRITING BASICS.
This is a must-attend workshop if you are just starting your travel writing/ blogging career.
You’ll learn:
• The different types of travel articles
• How to turn your blogs into saleable travel stories
• How to pitch your stories and market information
• How to take the best travel photos.
This is an interactive workshop so bring along your notebook and be prepared to participate in some writing exercises.

For over 15 years, Ruth Kozak has been instructing writing classesfor VSB, Community Centers, and privately. Ruth is a published travel journalist and historical fiction writer. Her first historical novel, SHADOW OF THE LION: BLOOD ON THE MOON, was published in UK in 2015. Volume 2, THE FIELDS OF HADES, will be published in 2016. She is a member of the Federation of BC Writers, the Canadian Authors Association, and president of the BC Association of Travel Writers. She just signed a contract to write another guide book on the GREEK ISLANDS.
