As market forces are beginning to completely transform every industry within Scotland through a new digital revolution, attention is being turned to the huge importance of technological skills. Scotland has the potential and the ambitions to be a world-leader within the digital and tech sectors.
However, as a new emerging economy develops, research has shown that woman only hold 15 percent of all tech jobs in the UK. This special #DigitalMeetup will explore the issues surrounding the gender gap within the digital and tech sectors and discuss ways in which this can be changed and improved as Scotland aims to be a dynamic and growing digital nation.
