CANCELLED: 101: Ovidian Dinner Party

Details
(I cancelled the dinner. We didn't have enough people signed up. Was this unfortunate timing or has the concept ran its course?
If anyone has suggestions for future BCE topics, please share them. In upcoming sessions, we’ll discuss some Greek plays and may revisit a few Ovid themes.
Note that Daniel Mendelsohn has a new translation of The Odyssey that could be interesting.
Stephen Mitchell has a translation titled Catullus: Selected Poems
by Gaius Valerius Catullus

Mark Your Calendar! To conclude our series of readings from Ovid's Metamorphoses we meet in person for a Ovidian dinner party. Location: Sebastopol, CA.
The menu blends the flavors of ancient Roman cuisine with the bounty of local produce, offering a culinary experience reminiscent of Ovid's era.
