Castell d'Encus is an excellent Catalan winery located at high altitudes in Costers del Segre. It is the brainchild of Raul Bobet, the oenologist and co-owner of renowned Priorat producers, Ferrer Bobet. The winery focuses primarily on French grape varieties and takes advantage of the cooling influence of their high altitude terroir to have extended ripening periods for their grapes adding to the complexity and freshness of wines produced from them. Together, we'll be tasting a selection of 6 wines from this innovative producer. Please DM to confirm your spot.

Event will be indoors
We will continue to require proof of an at home negative test on the day of the tasting to attend. I realize tests can be annoying, but it’s a simple way to prevent transmission and no one has ever caught COVID at one of our tastings. These little precautions help make that possible. Privately, some members have also said this is the only reason they feel comfortable attending and I’m glad we can do our part to continue to include them.
