12p Sat. Sept. 5: we discuss Homer's "THE ODYSSEY", at our CC's

Join us Saturday, September 5, noon to 1:45p at CC's Coffee on Esplanade Ave. (between North Broad and City Park). We will be in their community room -- to the right, before the bathrooms, as you walk in. Come and leave anytime.
We'll discuss Homer's THE ODYSSEY. Read any translation (about 300 pages - originally written in verse, the prose versions are more accessible; it is, after all, the first novel). This time it's OK if you don't complete the reading. Also OK to read and watch any kind of material about The Odyssey, including the new film adaptation and all the commentaries around it.
