Mathias Rüdiger will be giving a hands-on introduction to MapReduce using hadoop on Amazon EMR.

Uwe Pleban will be giving a high-level overview of various NoSQL technologies. This talk will hopefully be followed by more in-depth coverage in various areas (document dbs, key-value stores, etc).

This will held at the new d3media office a short walk from the Stadthausbrücke S-Bahn.

I limited this to 30 attendees due to limited seating/space.
