This gentle writing journey with Be the Change Collective invites you to slow down, exhale, and let your thoughts spill onto the page with confidence. Through reflective prompts and soft, supportive guidance, reconnect with your inner voice and discover how writing can be a soothing way to process, reflect, and realign.
There is a biological "reset" that occurs when we put pen to paper. The act of labeling emotions through writing reduces activity in the brain’s stress centers.
During this workshop we will:
- Explore grounding writing prompts.
- Learn simple reflective journaling rituals.
- Connect with the wisdom that emerges through pen and paper.

Facilitator:
Kat is the Project Director of Be the Change Collective and a community wellness educator devoted to creating spaces where people can heal, connect, and thrive. With years of experience in yoga, nervous system healing, and personal development, she brings heart, intention, and authenticity to everything she facilitates.
Kat's teaching style is light-hearted and loving, creating safe spaces where vulnerability becomes strength and shared words become bridges between hearts. Through writing, she explores what it means to be human—the messy, beautiful, tender moments that connect us all. She's passionate about helping others discover their own voices and the healing that comes from putting pen to page with honesty and courage.
When she's not facilitating, you'll find Kat lighting up in community, swimming or basking in the sun, and soaking in joyful moments with her adult son.
