Join the BYOBF Network and Himmat Media Holiday Mingler, an afternoon of connection, inspiration, and celebration as we gather with poet M.Maan.
The HOLIDAY MINGLER is for anyone who wants to connect face-to-face with a group of like-minded South Asian women.
It's all about mingling, networking, meeting new people, and making new friends. Our community is made up of successful, motivated and passionate South Asian women from all walks of life with one common belief: that investing in themselves and in other women is good for all of us.
Enjoy an afternoon of:

The event is hosted in collaboration with Himmat Media, a partner dedicated to empowering and amplifying diverse voices.

The BYOBF Network was established in 2012 as a South Asian women's networking group. We bring like-minded women together, empower youth and women in all areas of their lives, and act as an online resource. We host workshops and networking events, as well as occasional talks from inspiring speakers. Be prepared to meet some amazing women and to share your story in a 20 second “elevator speech” format.
Himmat Media is a visionary digital marketing agency and think tank that specializes in thought-provoking narratives. We embrace the power of self-awareness and drive positive societal transformation by exploring untapped dimensions of human experience. Himmat Media is located in Vancouver, BC, but has international impact and a global clientele base**.**
M. Maan is a writer, and published author on hiatus. She works in inclusive post-secondary education by day, she’s a melodramatic tragedy writer by night; M. Maan’s poetry has been published in the “Voices Visible” and “And We All Breathe the Same Air” anthologies, as well as her original poetry collection, “Repeat After Me”. This Punjabi-Canadian hype woman extraordinaire is also the founder of Inner Space, an emerging art collective meant to uplift and promote racialized/marginalized multimedia artists both in her home base, Vancouver, and internationally.
