Who is Maile Lama?

At the ages of 7, 9 and 11 Maile Lama was abducted by Banjhankri, a wild forest shaman, and taught to become a healer. At 11 years of age she began working with her uncle, a Nepalese Shaman and to practice her healing work and has continued her work to present.

Eventually Maile moved from her village to work in Kathmandu where she met Ellen Winner of Boulder who has remained her student for 21 years. Thanks to Ellen, The Sacred Earth Foundation was able to host her in the Boulder and Gold Hill areas from April 11-14 where we had sold out events and healing sessions.

In Nepal, there is no time frame on ceremony so we wish to offer you and experience of a healing ceremony that continues until spirit says it is time to stop. We invite you to our sacred land to experience an all night ceremony in the true traditions of Nepal. In Nepal, people are free to come and go during ceremony and individuals approach Maile for her healing during the process. So know that if you are an early night person, you are free to move around and come and go. Her work is in a powerful realm and she is in another space during ceremony.
