Beachy Head Activities (run by Beachy Head Ambassadors)

Start your day with us on a short guided walk!

We will be starting outside The Beachy Head Pub at 7am walking to Belle Tout Lighthouse and back. The walk will take around 1.5 - 2 hours. Remember to wear walking boots as the ground has been pretty slippery recently, bring plenty of layers to keep warm and bring water. Dogs are welcome, however, we ask that they are kept on leads for this walk so that they do not disturb the wildlife.

The leaders of the walk are The Beachy Head Ambassadors, who will be easy to identify, wearing their navy jackets and bright green polos.

We'll keep an eye on the weather forecast the day before the walk and if the weather isn't looking so great we will message the group to tell you the walk has been cancelled. If you sign up but realise you can't make it in the end, please remove yourself from the list so we know how many people to expect.

Ahead of International Women's Day we will be leading a Women's walk followed by breakfast at Cadence Café at Beachy Head!

Cadence will be opening early for us at 8am so we can have some coffees or breakfast after. You can come just for the walk, just for breakfast or both :)

Starting outside The Kiosk Cafe (next to Bedes School) walking a circular route via Beachy Head.

The walk will take around an hour and a half. This route involves some steep hills so be aware that you will need a decent level of fitness. Remember to wear walking boots or similar as it can be quite slippery in places, wrap up warm with plenty of layers and bring water.
