Mill Creek Park Hike & Noble Creature After-hike Gathering (SATURDAY)

Details

** Please note ** We may need to park at the Slippery Rock Pavilion Parking Area. I will contact the park and verify. If we need to change, I will update this note and change the meeting location. It is close to Ford Nature Center.

Welcome to the Beat the Blues Wellness Adventure Group! Join me and Ron for a guided hike of the Mill Creek Park trails! Afterwards we will stop at Noble Creature Brewery for food and drink.
Good news! Noble Creature has added some house made wines & seltzers!

Before your first hike with us, please note the following:

Attendance: Do not reserve a spot if you aren't serious about attending! The event is limited to 35 in order to account for all hikers and respect the peace of the park. If you cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances, release your reservation a day in advance so waitlisted participants can plan to come. No shows and last-minute cancellations are highly discouraged.

Meeting location: Mill Creek Park - Ford Nature Center. Please be on time. We will be hiking in all conditions unless notified in advance.

Regarding safety: 90% of the hike will be dirt/gravel/rocky forest trails. The trails are hilly and can be muddy/icy. We may cross streams. Hiking poles are highly recommended so that you do not fall. While this group cares for your safety, all participants hike at their own risk.

Regarding endurance: hikes last about 2.5 hours and stretch for 6 miles. Please take this pace into consideration before attending. Bring extra water.

Dogs: are allowed at Mill Creek Park.

Message me with any other questions that you may have. See you soon!

Michael
