16 mile hike on the Rachel Carson

We will be hiking 16 miles on The Rachel Carson Trail. At the 8 mile point, we will turn around. I am thinking that will be somewhere around the end of Hampton Park. We will meet at the The Spillway Parking Lot on Babcock. There is not bathrooms at the start, but we will pass porta potties a couple times throughout the hike. This is an intermediate hike because of the distance and hills. We will be hiking at a 2.5 to 3 mph pace. Dogs are welcome. Hiking poles and hiking shoes are recommended. Please bring plenty of water and snacks.
