Ohioplyle Hiking and Lunch

The parking meeting spot is where the visitor center parking is. There are bathrooms in the visitor center. I drive a silver jeep compass.

We will combine two hikes, the Great Gorge Trail with the Ferncliff trail. This will create a 5.45 mile loop that takes us past the river, through the woods, and Cucumber Falls. All Trails rates parts of the trail loop
as moderate and parts as easy. This is a hike to take in the beauty of the area, not for speed.

The Fall foliage is starting and with the lack of rain, we might get lucky and see it right before peak.

Afterwards we will meet at Falls City Pub right in town!

As always please wear appropriate footwear, clothing, plenty of water. Some parts of the trails are rocky and slippery.
