Emerald View Park & Mount Washington Hike

EVENT:
Emerald View Park is a hidden gem in our city. The hiking trails in the park offer a great workout and breathtaking vistas of the Pittsburgh skyline. For example, part of the hike is along the famous Mount Washington overlook.
The hike will be approximately 6 miles, with mostly single-track trails and some paved surfaces. The terrain includes a few hills, which will get your heart pumping 🙂 The pace will average approximately 3 mph, with several breaks to take in views from Mount Washington and Emerald View Park. There will be many options for you to cut out early and hike a shorter distance.
We will meet in the small parking lot at the end of Olympia Park, or across from "510 Hallock St, Pittsburgh, PA 15211". For the exact location, please use the link below...

1. Although this hike has an urban flavor, the trails can be muddy. Please plan on appropriate footwear.
