EVENT:

Emerald View Park is a hidden gem in our city. The hiking trails in the park offer a great workout and breathtaking vistas of the Pittsburgh skyline. For example, part of the hike is along the famous Mount Washington overlook.

The hike will be approximately 6 miles, with mostly single-track trails and some paved surfaces. The terrain includes a few hills, which will get your heart pumping ๐Ÿ™‚ The pace will average approximately 3 mph, with several breaks to take in views from Mount Washington and Emerald View Park. There will be many options for you to cut out early and hike a shorter distance.

CONSIDERATIONS:

1. Although this hike has an urban flavor, the trails can be muddy. Please plan on appropriate footwear.
2. Pets are allowed but MUST be leashed and under control at all times.
