Beat the Blues - BEECHWOOD FARMS Sunset Hike

Welcome to the Beat the Blues Sunset Hike edition! Join me for a shorter evening hike that wraps up just after sundown and enjoy forest sunset views for the duration of our adventure!

Before your first hike with us, please note the following:

Attendance: DO NOT RESERVE A SPOT IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON COMMITTING TO IT! The event is limited to 20 in order to account for all hikers and respect the peace of the park. Attendance will be taken just prior to each hike. If you cannot attend due to unforeseen circumstances, release your reservation prior to Tuesday at 6PM so that those waitlisted can plan to replace you. Failure to do so without further communication will result in being banned from the group.

Meeting location: Beechwood Farms Parking Lot. Sunset hikes begin at the designated time with no exceptions! We will be hiking in all conditions unless notified in advance. Bring warm layered clothing and hat in anticipation of colder temperatures.

Regarding safety: 90% of the hike will be dirt/gravel forest trails. They are often muddy. We will cross several streams. Please wear waterproof hiking boots with traction. The trails are hilly. Hiking poles are highly recommended so that you do not fall. While this group cares for your safety, all participants hike at their own risk.

Regarding endurance: hikes last about 1 to 1 1/2 hours and stretch for approximately 3 miles. Bring water. Bathroom facilities exist at the start & end point.

Dogs: are not allowed at Beechwood Farms.
