Outdoor portrait workshop with Lydia (Full day Workshop)

Get ready for an epic meetup. The philosophy of BeautyInFocus is to create high quality and original workshops. Were are bringing a professional model all the way to Birmingham for this fantastic workshop. During this workshop we will work on two completely different looks (Red riding hood and flower dress). We have selected a fantastic location in the heart of Edgbaston (exact location is disclosed to participants only). We have designed these workshops so everyone irrespective of their experience can benefits from them. So if you want to gain experience or just want to create awesome photos for your portfolio this workshop will be suitable for you. The number of participants is limited (max 6) so you have plenty of 1-2-1 time with the model.

Equipment

We will arrange all the necessary lighting and props for this workshop. All you need to bring is your camera, lens and willingness to create awesome photos. Any type of camera and lens is ok however you would benefit from having a fast prime i.e 50mm 1.8 or similar in addition to your usual zoom lens. Fo this specific shoot also longer focal lengths would be beneficial.

Location

For this workshop we have selected one of the most iconic gardens in Birmingham (Edgbaston). Entry ticket to the gardens is included in the cost of the meetup. There is ample car parking space at the venue and train station is 10-15 away (walking) from the venue.

On the Day

We will all gather at the entrance of the gardens to meet then we will head in to the gardens and start with one of the looks. We will be working with natural light and flash (and gels). You will have the opportunity to learn how to setup location shoot and direct the model. I will fully explain each step and will give advice during the day. We kept the group size small so you will have plenty of time to create your own images (we don't like workshops were all photos look the same)
