Let's get any snow activities in before they are gone! *Please note, you must buy your own tubing ticket, and please do so before your RSVP to this event (see details below).

Plan:

  • **Trillium Lake Snow Hike - Bring warm clothes, jacket, beanie, rain and/or snow jacket, gloves, etc. (**We don't know what the weather is going to look like until time gets closer). Bring: Yak tracks and/or micro-spikes. If you have snowshoes, bring them as an option, but recent reviews of the hike, indicated the trail is very packed now and microspikes are ok to use.
  • Leave PDX around 12pm, arrive to Trillium Lake Parking around 1:30pm. If you choose to carpool, you can arrive at Sunset Transit Center (10470 SW Barnes Rd, Portland, OR 97225) at 12pm (host will not be there), and please wait 10 min before group leaves to ensure anyone who is carpooling has opportunity to do so.
  • If you are driving solo, meet at Trillium Lake Parking lot at 1:30pm. Trillium Lake Snow-Parking: (90312 Mt Hood Hwy, Government Camp, OR). Typically due to snow we need to **park at the Sno-parking lot and we can permit ahead of time (*Daily Sno-Park Permit - $4, or can get a season pass). Walk/hike - Less than 4.9 miles.
  • After the hike, we will go to Mt. Hood Brewery Co. down the street for late lunch/early dinner.
  • After our meal, we will head to SkiBowl East Tubing, for our time slot of 1.5 hours. Please buy your "day tubing" ticket here, they are $36, and be sure to select the correct date of March 7th, at 3:45pm time slot. (It was previously slated for 5:30pm, but that slot is all booked up).

After, we will head back to Portland!
