Since no one posted they were intending to carpool everyone meet at the trailhead/parking lot (Old Hwy 8, White Salmon, WA 98672) at 8:30am. Please note that parking is limited, which is why we are getting there early. This is the closest trailhead to the west.

  • The Labyrinth to Coyote Wall Loop is 6.4mi, moderate hike at about 1,450ft elevation, Approx. 4 hrs.
  • We won't know what the weather will be like until we get closer, but typically this is prime wildflower season (Lupines, balsamroot, etc.).
  • What to bring: Rain jacket, hiking clothing, hiking boots, poles, etc. I highly recommend hiking pants and sunshirt/long sleeve garment, as in the beginning there may be poison oak on side of the trail, but can easily be avoided. There are hardly no trees on this hike, so if weather calls for sun, highly recommend sun hat, sunscreen, etc. As a disclosure, this area has been known for people seeing rattlesnakes (but I will be hiking in front for safety, and I've done this hike 3-4 times and never have seen one).
  • After the hike, for anyone who wants to opt in, we will drive a short distance for lunch at Walking Man Brewing, for some great food and drinks! Head to back to PDX afterwards.cc
