If you aspire to be a better web developer or coder, you should probably be on GitHub. It provides access control and collaboration features such as bug tracking, feature requests, task management, and wikis for your projects, plus hosting at zero cost.
But maybe you already know that GitHub is awesome, but are intimidated to try it out? Never fear, Quinn Supplee will be here to tell you how to get started and why it matters.
Open up a new world of development possibilities for all of your projects and clients in this informative presentation. This presentation will NOT be recorded so please plan to attend if you want to learn more about GitHub.
PLEASE NOTE NEW LOCATION and IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
WIMP meetings start at 6:30, so please be here promptly to avoid interrupting the presentation. Parking is available in campus parking lots and there is a limited amount of parking in the adjacent neighborhood in the evenings. Please note parking rules if you go that route.
Please bring what you would like to snack on and share. We will supply pizza and water. No alcohol allowed on SRJC campus. Thanks.
Please RSVP if you plan on coming. Thanks and we are looking forward to seeing you!
P.S. We'll have some free Peachpit Dreamweaver CC, CS6 and Javascript books for folks who come early. :)
