SEO Lesson 1: Website Audit

Background

Our first meetup went well! We got to know each other a bit and came up with a list of SEO topics that we want to learn. It was decided that for our first workshop we wanted to learn how to perform a website audit.

Agenda

We are going to walk through a website audit that checks about 100 things on a website. Bring your lap top if you can and have one of your websites in mind that you want to perform the audit on. You will be able to perform your own website audit during the meetup. Also, make sure you have Google Analytics and Google Search Console installed if possible.

Location

The Iron Yard is located on the third floor of the white, Station House Building. Take the gold elevator on the outside of the building to the third floor. Parking is available at the metered spaces out front or paid parking is available at parking garages.

From now on our meetups will be on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6pm at the Iron Yard in St. Pete.
