**Welcome to the Beckenham Walking Group on Meetup.com!**
This group is perfect for anyone who enjoys walking but finds it hard to get going without a bit of company. If you've ever thought, "I'd go for a walk if someone came with me,"—this is the group for you!
We’ll meet at Croydon Road Recreation Ground and start our walks from there. Sometimes we’ll stroll through local favourites like Beckenham High Street, Kelsey Park, or Beckenham Place Park. To begin with, walks will be arranged once a week on weekday evenings, with the possibility of increasing frequency based on interest.
There will be a small, non-refundable fee for each walk. This helps cover Meetup platform costs, planning time, and helps reduce last-minute no-shows.
Come join us to explore the beautiful green spaces around Beckenham, meet like-minded people, and enjoy the many benefits of gentle, regular walking. Let’s get outside, breathe in some fresh air, and make great memories together.
