Since a lot of Halton businesses are planning to stay closed today (high probability our planned location isnt going to be open) and there's an orange storm alert (visibility suddenly reduced to near zero at times), I'm cancelling the in person meetup today. I heard from a few of you that rescheduling would be difficult, so, how about still meeting today, but virtually just for this one time due to snowpocalypse lol?

Here is a WhatsApp group invite (youll have to approve downloading the app if you don't already have it on your phone) and within the group there will be a link to do a video call starting at 11am, like we planned (if you're having trouble navigating this, feel free to message me):

Our plan for this meetup is to talk about our experience of reading Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience by Brené Brown — what stood out, what resonated, what surprised you, or what you’re still chewing on.

If folks would like, we can also spend some time chatting about What My Bones Know by Stephanie Foo, since we had to cancel that meetup.

And of course, we’ll leave plenty of room for casual chit chat and getting to know one another a bit — honestly, the most important ingredient in a book club. 😊
