Details

Are you a man looking to create long-lasting, deep, and healthy friendships with other men? We are "Becoming Men", a new men's group sharing a journey of self-discovery and brotherhood.

Saturday, September 6th starting at 2pm, we will be meeting at the Golden Mill, renting tubes and riding down Clear Creek all day! This is a refreshing, lazy river style way to close out the summer. Tube rentals are $25 and due back by 5:45pm. Afterwards, we will all share a meal on the patio at the Golden Mill. This is a great chance to meet more men, and share in positive masculine energy!

***HIGHLY RECOMENDED***
It is highly suggested you reserve your tube at BOOK SUMMER 2025 and book a "Golden Whitewater Tube Rental-No shuttle," as it is a busy weekend day, and there is no guarantee you will have a tube to rent. Also, reserving will save you $1!

WHEN
Saturday September 6th - 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

WHERE
Meet at the Golden Mill.

BECOMING MEN
"Becoming Men" is a community offering for men seeking to build healthy and long-lasting relationships by healing our core masculine wounds. We aim to create a safe space for men to discover, express, and relate with one another, while also building deep, meaningful masculine friendships - something that many of us have been missing. We believe that in order for society to heal, men must receive support from other men. By discovering ourselves and supporting other men, we will slowly heal all types of relationships in our lives - with our friends, at our work, with our family, our intimate lovers, and within our greater community. We invite you to take this journey of friendship and brotherhood with us.

GUIDANCE for Tubing
The weather will be unknown. Please wear swimming gear and sufficient water-poof foot wear. We will be walking our tubes back up the river many times, which is about a half-mile walk on a concrete path. Tubing and life jacket rentals are $25. Plan accordingly. We will provide updates if the weather is an issue.

COST
This event is free. If you find value, you are welcome to donate prior to or afterwards to help support our group. Donations are welcome but not required.

CANCELLATIONS
Please keep your RSVP up to date, this will help us keep an eye out for you! If your circumstances have changed and you are unable to make this event, we understand and honor your humanness! Please change your RSVP on the event page to "not going".

SAFETY
We are here to provide an emotionally safe, confidential, and inclusive place for ourselves and other men to open up emotionally, grow, and learn. Please be respectful of each other and hold space for each other to show up authentically. We believe that all men, just as they are, are worthy of love, respect, and empathy. We strive to become the best men we can be, all the while refraining from guilt, shame or insults around our past, present, or future. If you cannot meet these basic guidelines, we may respectfully ask you to leave.
